OCALA, Fla. – Two people were killed and four injured in a shooting early Sunday morning in the north-central Florida city, officials said.

Officers were summoned to the Ocala residence around 4:30 a.m. ET, according to an Ocala Police news release. About 100 people were gathered in the area when the photo was taken.
Police identified the two men killed as Dabonta Harris, 30, and Abdul Hakeem Van Kuroski, 24. Police said four of his other men had gunshot wounds and are in stable condition. They were being treated “at an undisclosed location,” according to the agency.
Police did not provide other details about the shooting, adding that the scene was safe, WFTV reported.
“Many people are devastated and saddened by this tragic event,” police said in a news release. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by this terrible act.”
