A visit to the Walt Disney World Resort can be a magical family trip for most people, but in this case, the trip for one family turned out to be fatal.

A trip to a Disney park should be a time for family and friends to get together and escape from everyday life. Unfortunately for one family, the trip back from “the most magical place on earth” went wrong.
A South Carolina man was arrested earlier this week while returning from a vacation to Walt Disney World in Florida.
According to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, Harvey Thomas and his pregnant family left Disney and were at 6030 East of State Route 100 at a McDonald’s when they got into an altercation in a parking lot. At one point during the fight, an agent said Thomas pushed his family multiple times and forced witnesses to confront Thomas about the incident. Harvey He Thomas, 45, was arrested on Sunday, December 18.

Thomas was arrested for deadly weapon and aggravated assault on a pregnant woman after a witness provided a video of the incident to police.
Over the past few months, there have been several arrests related to visits to the Walt Disney World Resort. As we head into the new year, we hope the violence subsides so families visiting Disney Parks can focus on the magic the parks offer their guests.
