One Disney guest recently shared an experience that brought her to tears after learning that her meal was served with “disturbing extras.”
In addition to the mouth-watering snacks we all know and love, Walt Disney World Resort has some of the most exclusive and requested restaurants to provide an enjoyable experience for Guests of all ages visiting the Orlando Resort. There are many first-class restaurants. From ‘Ohana’ at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, to Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue at The Campsite at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, to Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Walt Disney World has something to satisfy even the most demanding palate.

Perhaps one of Disney World’s most exclusive restaurants is Morimoto Asia at The Landing in Disney Springs. Chef Morimoto’s — from Iron Chef America — The most exciting restaurant yet serving the finest Pan-Asian cuisine with a menu as enticing as the venue itself.
But a recent guest visit to this fine dining restaurant noticed that one of the plates ordered at her table contained a “wild” surprise that would make her and her party cry. It wasn’t very comfortable at times.

A video of the hilarious yet unfortunate incident was posted on TikTok by AdderallThrawn (@adderallthrawn). In it, after noticing that her A5 Wagyu beef, one of the restaurant’s most exclusive dishes, contained a certificate of authenticity with “Birthday of the Cow”, its name and nose print. You can hear her and her party laugh and cry. The wagyu beef was certainly fun, but this “surprise extra” was decidedly hilarious and heartbreaking for this guest and her party.

Wagyu beef is typically supplied with a certificate of authenticity detailing key information about the origin of the beef and its official grade by the Japan Meat Grading Association. Morimoto Asia is no exception. The restaurant’s menu describes A5 wagyu beef as “A5 is the highest quality given only to the finest certified beef in Japan.” However, this standard practice may have come as a surprise to this party, who will never forget their fine dining experience.

The video has amassed 1.4 million views, over 271,000 likes, and 3,000 comments since it was posted four days ago. Some viewers commented, “Disney serves up a little trauma in every dish,” “Guilty five stars for him,” and “That’s his one way of persuading people to go vegan.” I leave a cheerful comment such as. Another viewer was delighted to see the attention to detail on the certificate and commented: I mean, I cry too, which is kind of healthy. A viewer who took this surprise humorously commented, “I want to collect it like Pokemon cards.”
The Disney guest who posted the video later commented. Apart from the surprise of finding out the name of her dish and her birthday.
