According to guests who attended EPCOT today, the famous roller coaster was still playing the holiday edition music that was supposed to be switched this morning.

Walt Disney World Resort guests aboard Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will continue to play today after an “urgent issue” prevented Imagineers from replacing the soundtrack after the festival ended. They report hearing the “Holiday Remix” song. yesterday’s holiday. The cast member didn’t elaborate on the “urgent issue,” but the ride was working fine today and yesterday, except for the soundtrack being incorrect.
The Holiday Remix was supposed to end at the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays at the end of the year and return to regular tunes yesterday, December 31st. I am still playing today.
Cast members reported that another overnight test is scheduled tonight to restore the standard soundtrack. Still, tomorrow she couldn’t confirm which soundtrack will be playing for guests on January 2nd. This is probably because each individual ride has audio and needs to be tested and validated. If work went as planned, nightly swaps should have been allowed.

Walt Disney World Resort has four theme parks: Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot Park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios Theme Park.
