Anthem Marine has announced the introduction of the new Karma 23. It targets water he sports enthusiasts looking for a combination of pontoon comfort and surf boat performance.
Anthem CEO Mark Overbye said: “Despite the pandemic and uncertainty, we are committed to helping people have the most fun on the water.”
Designed, built and tested on Lake Superior, Anthem’s new line is user-centric, including a powered bow ramp that doubles as a second swim platform, and a 3600-pound ballast system that fills and drains in about three minutes without a pump. It combines several patent-pending features of or complex piping, and an open, single-level free-flow design from bow to stern with easy access to all four sides.
CAD-developed and CFD-proven, Anthem’s hull is built to MIL-Spec standards and is 100% recyclable. The interior consists of components provided by aerospace vendors, and surfers will appreciate the integrated touchscreen controls for zero-off, wake shapers, center tabs and ballast.
Powered by a PCM inboard engine, the Anthem is 100% made in the USA with production partners spanning some of the boat industry’s most famous names.
“The surf boat segment is decidedly hot and families love the open design of the pontoons,” said Anthem dealer Dirk Plumlee.
