During the colonial period, the lack of indoor plumbing meant that residents would dump buckets of garbage into the street. This fact is supported by the lack of public restrooms in Liberty Square. Available only in Columbia Harbor House and Liberty Tree Tavern. Although these locations are featured as part of Liberty Square, some believe they are actually within neighboring lands such as Frontierland and Fantasyland because they are located within buildings.
