As a local, Disney Springs has become my favorite place for friends to hang out and family to visit. There are so many good things about Disney Springs that it would be difficult to list them all, but I will do my best to share as much as I can. I feel like there are only two negatives. Parking lot and congestion level in the evening. Enough of the negatives. Experience the best of Disney Springs.

First is brunch. I look forward to going to Disney Springs brunch these days. Disney Springs has several brunch locations. We have eaten at City Works, House of Blues and Raglan Road. I have nothing bad to say about any of those places. Reservations are recommended. We booked brunch the night before on non-holiday weekends. I also noticed that getting his brunch time between 10:30am and 11:30am was very calm and not crowded.
Brunch at House of Blues features live music and the best bottomless mimosas. City Works is also a fun spot because of the giant TVs that take up the entire wall of the restaurant. They also have a few different mimosa flavors as well as basic orange juice mimosas Raglan Road has an amazing avocado his toast and eggs benedict. The atmosphere of this dining place is very pleasant. The food at each of these locations is amazing. I’d love to try Homecomin’ for brunch, but it’s hard to get a last minute reservation. Sure, it’s something you have to plan for. Other brunch locations include Terralina Crafted Italian, Wine Bar George, Maria & Enzo’s, The Edison, and STK Orlando.

You can’t deny a great buy. There is a wide variety of stores to choose from although some feel overpriced. My wife loves Disney and she loves shopping at Zara in Springs. My favorite clothing store is Francesca’s. Luckily another location in Orlando is a little farther from me so there is a Disney Springs location. Disney Springs, by contrast, is just a 10-minute drive. Of course, I love World of Disney and am looking at all the new merchandise. Also, stop by World of Disney to see if you can find new ears to add to your collection. My wife and I prefer to shop at Disney Springs for its variety of stores rather than enjoying the surrounding malls.
Another store I enjoy is The Spice and Tea Exchange by the Christmas shop. This store has a lot of different types of spices and teas. We’ve got the perfect Baker’s Secret Spice for your brownies and cakes. The M&Ms store holds a special place in my heart. Because that’s where my wife and I bought our M&Ms for our wedding ceremony. We each got to choose her M&Ms in our favorite colors and now we have mason jars filled with her M&Ms in blue and pink. Now I love going to stores and remember when I chose M&M. Overall, Disney Springs is an unexpected place to shop.

I know I’ve already mentioned food, but it was brunch specifically. Disney Springs has some of the best dining on Disney property. The only downside is that you will most likely need a reservation especially for dinner. This is because Disney Springs is at its busiest. My favorite place to eat in Disney Springs has always been Chef Art His Smith’s Homecoming. It’s also my wife’s favorite restaurant. I haven’t been since I became vegetarian but would love to go back and explore their vegetarian options. My second favorite restaurant for him is Wine Bar George. He also likes wine, he took a wine class in college, so he loves tasting new wines. 3rd place is House of Blues. I love the atmosphere of House of Blues and all the artwork. I think House of Blues is a unique place. There are still many restaurants I haven’t eaten at, so it may change someday.

Last but not least, boat transport to the resort. When I’m in Disney Springs, I crave a Port Orleans French Quarter Mickey-shaped beignet and hop on a boat. Within minutes I was in the French Quarter and reunited with Beignet. It’s also very convenient for Port Orleans, Saratoga Springs, and Old Key West resort guests traveling to Disney Springs. This is also fun for families with kids who love boating, or adults who love boating.

Disney Springs has a lot to offer, but these are just some of the best things about Disney Springs. I love the brunch options, shopping, food offerings, and boat rides in Springs. It is recommended to go to Disney Springs in the morning. From about 10am to noon, it’s fairly calm before the lunch rush kicks in. Disney Springs is a beautiful place to take a morning walk, which I used to do when Disney Springs reopened after its closure. Overall, I love Disney Springs.
