Breakfast with Santa at the Rainforest Cafe took place this weekend. Earlier this event was held and on the weekend of December 10th and he reported that the same event will be held at the T-Rex Café on the weekend of the 11th. One of my Orlando area theme park friends his GooToYou attended this event. All photos from this event were provided by #GooToYou. Key aspects advertised about the event included a buffet breakfast, several activities, and of course a meeting with Santa.
The first morning the event was not attended by many groups. According to initial reports, he is only 6 different groups to book this breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 3rd at 9am.rdIf you choose to attend a similar event at T-Rex Café next weekend, you cannot expect the same level of crowds.
Unlike marketing from Rainforest Café’s website, guests were not able to meet Rainforest Café’s mascot, Cha Cha. Still, guests met Mrs. Claus with St. Nick. Guests were able to take pictures with both North Pole residents. At this event, Santa and Mrs. Claus sat at his photo location.
Guests could take pictures with him at their leisure. A guest could purchase a framed version of these photos for him for $20.

Attendees of “Breakfast with Santa at the Rainforest Café” received a family-style meal. This is in contrast to marketing that suggests a buffet format. But GooToYou didn’t seem to care. He commented that “family style wasn’t bad, but a lot of food was brought to the table.” There is no “make your own omelette” station, but most other advertised breakfast items were available.
GooToYou said, “The food was decent, but nothing special.” However, the character breakfast his buffet at around $35 including other activities isn’t too bad. And since Rainforest Café doesn’t specialize in complex gourmet food, it’s mostly good. #GooToYou said the overall experience was “a lot of fun”. Below are pictures of the dishes served.

GooToYou, like other guests, received a goodie bag for being there. This Santa-themed goodies his bag included some toys and discount coupons. For example, his bag contained a fun Rainforest Café-branded paddle his ball, but was “mostly full of candy and small toys.”
If you’re looking for a buffet breakfast to start your day, the breakfast buffet at T-Rex Café is the place to go. The obvious weakness of this event relates to him having to start his day at 9am in Disney Springs. If you plan to do some shopping or vacation at a theme park, this will be a good option. However, this breakfast option doesn’t work for many who want to spend his day in the park. As always, eat like you mean it!
