2022 has been a great year for Walt Disney World guests and fans. After four long years, the Walt Disney World Railroad at Magic Kingdom park has finally reopened. TRON Lightcycle/Run isn’t ready yet, but we know the attraction will open this spring. In addition, Disney World’s newest and first reverse launch roller coaster, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, opened in EPCOT’s World Discovery Area. On top of that, the 50th anniversary is happening all year round, making it the perfect opportunity to visit some of the most magical places on earth.

Now, you might be surprised that Cosmic Rewind isn’t on the list. However, it’s important to remember that Cosmic Rewind still works exclusively with virtual queues. This means Disney only has a certain number of people in line each day. When Cosmic Rewind opens up to all guests each day, the ride could reach one of the longest lines at the park.

Not only will TRON Lightcycle/Run open, but EPCOT’s newest attraction, Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana, will also open. Figment’s Meet and Greet will also return to his EPCOT for a limited time. A new night show will premiere after Harmonious ends. The Magic Kingdom will return with its incredibly popular fireworks show, Happily Ever After, as the 50th anniversary concludes. The Magic Kingdom’s Haunted Mansion also adds Hatbox his Ghost, an iconic character found at the Disneyland Resort.
