Hi Friends, I finally tried the burger I was avoiding, the Doom Burger.Columbia Harbor House is cute, but if you don’t like the smell of fish, don’t eat here. This place smells of fish from head to toe. As a kid, I used to love this place because the macaroni and cheese was delicious. I still feel nostalgic for this restaurant, but I don’t think I like the food anymore. Anyway, enough history. Let’s dig into this burger.
The Doom Burger is a plant-based crab cake sandwich topped with red onion and cabbage coleslaw and served with fries. The twist is that the bread is blackened to resemble the Doom Buggy from the Haunted Mansion. Listen, I love onions, but there were way too many onions in this burger – it was so underwhelming. It was a very messy dish.
I love this “crab cake” and I used to eat decent plant based stuff so I wanted it to be really good. I understand that is an all-inclusive dish to make sure those on a plant-based diet have options. It wasn’t the best in Kingdom. You’ll never find me looking for this again. In my opinion, the Doom Burger costs $13.49 and is not worth it at all.
