Disney has made some progress in developing iconic properties at Walt Disney World.

Visiting Walt Disney World every other year increases the chances of seeing something new on your next visit. 2022 and his 2023 are big years for Orlando Resorts, and Disney is constantly adding new and exciting experiences to Parks and Resorts.
In 2022, Disney World will welcome Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind to EPCOT, the park’s first roller coaster. The Walt Disney World Railroad has also reopened after several years of being offline. This year, the Tron Lightcycle Run finally kicks off at the Magic Kingdom.
However, another part of the Walt Disney World experience has changed significantly in the last year, and it’s certainly pretty silly to bother with.

If you’ve been in the Disney community for some time, you already know about the tragic fate of iconic landmarks at the Walt Disney World Resort. His first of two big blows came in the form of a complete demolition of the classic Tower of Terror sign just days after he learned it was going to be removed.
The second circumstance was Disney removing one of the actual resort welcome signs. Specifically, one featuring Mickey and Minnie on opposite sides of a passing guest. Over the course of a week, Disney completely stripped both Minnie and Mickey from the installation.
Another sign, the Disney Vacation Club, has also recently been working on it. Please see the photo.

As you can see, the Disney Vacation Club van sign is still standing. When work on this sign first started, all the paint was covered with a primer. Thankfully, the signs look better than ever, and the characters’ silhouettes have been re-edited.
