Lake Buena Vista, Florida – Walt Disney World wants guests to dive deep into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Through July 21st, guests visiting Disney Springs can experience an all-new virtual reality experience, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge. The limited-time offer will take over the former NBA Experience Building, which closed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This new experience is made possible through ILMxLAB, Meta Quest, Lucasfilm’s award-winning immersive entertainment studio.
Once guests put on their headsets, their adventure begins on the outskirts of Star Wars’ planet of Batuu, Black Spire Outpost.
“With this preview, you’ll be able to step into the Cantina of Cieselslack, where you’ll encounter Mbo and Cieselslack himself. Those looking for more adventure can head across the Black Spire Outpost into the wilds of Batuu to face off against the Guavian Death Gang,” explains Mehta on its website.
Fans who complete the experience will receive prizes and even have the option to purchase Meta Quest 2 on the spot.
Guests who attended the May 4th experience received an exclusive poster featuring the Guavian Death Gang cell operating on Batuu and its ruthless leader, Tara Rashin.
Disney says the free trial will be available daily from noon to 10 p.m.
To experience a new service, guests must speak with a Cast Member and book a time at the location.You must be 13 or older to participate.
