Christmas may be over, but the holiday season is still in full swing at Walt Disney World Resort.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party is officially over. This means that Disney park guests can no longer enjoy many of the after-hours services at Magic’s Kingdom that accompany parties, such as Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, and more. The show, and Mickey’s most hilarious celebration, but that doesn’t mean the holidays are over.

The week between Christmas and New Year is one of the busiest weeks of the year for Disney World Guests visiting parks such as Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The holiday decorations have not yet come out and will continue to be on display until the first week of January when guests enter.

But just recently I saw a parade float fail and bring the parade to a complete stop.

As you can see, a float adorned with holiday decorations brought the parade to a halt in this particular area, and a Disney cast member had to come to tow it.
The Magic Kingdom’s most popular parade is none other than the Festival of Fantasy. During the parade, the relentless fascination and vivid pageantry of Fantasyland and its many inhabitants travel through the park in a thrilling and spectacular parade. A dazzling mix of float, motion and original music that will keep you humming for days.
For performance schedules, check the official Disney World Entertainment Schedule or the Magic Kingdom Park Times Guide. Because it is an outdoor parade, it may be canceled due to bad weather. Showtimes are subject to change.
