A family of avid Disney lovers recently purchased a nearly $4 million Disney World home, making the dreams of thousands of fans a reality.
Waking up in the morning at Cinderella’s Castle, basking in the sun with a view of Fantasyland, and walking down an empty American Main Street with coffee and churros in hand is a dream come true. Spend a day of fun and magic at the Magic Kingdom or your favorite Walt Disney World theme park—Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Epcot, or Disney’s Hollywood Studios? With $4 million to spare, you can experience the next best thing and live in the spectacular resort-style communities of Walt Disney World Resort.

A home in Golden Oak, the only residential community established on the grounds of Walt Disney World Resort, recently sold for $3.95 million, four days after it hit the market, giving a Disney-loving family definitely made my dream come true. The 3,642-square-foot mansion was “modern in transition” in 2015.
Chris Christensen of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty commented to Mansion Global: Golden Oak is the only community built on Disney property. … That [was] It’s low priced for a neighborhood and very attractive to anyone wanting to live in Golden Oak, but it’s not in the $10 million price range. ”

Sotheby’s declined to comment on the buyer, but the new home’s owner surely shares a love of Mickey Mouse and all things Disney. I’m here. “They range from retired couples hoping to take over their homes in the future, to young families with children taking advantage of the lifestyle and living there full-time.”
Disney World homes feature wood and marble floors and vaulted ceilings. Eat-in kitchen with adjoining dining and living areas. Disappearing glass doors leading to the pool and backyard area. 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 powder rooms. The primary bedroom suite has a large walk-in closet and bathroom with walk-in shower and whirlpool tub.

This home is within walking distance to Golden Oak’s private clubhouse, Summerhouse, and a golf cart ride to the Four Seasons Resort. It last traded for around $1.9 million in 2015.
Golden Oak at Walt Disney World Resort includes eight exclusive neighborhoods: Carolwood, Kimball Trace, Kingswell, Marceline, Silverbrook, Symphony Grove, The Cottages at Symphony Grove, and Four Seasons Private Residences Orlando.
