As the sun beats down during the hottest time of the year, guests can experience not only the wrath of Florida, but a taste of Florida at Disney Springs.
Disney Springs has brought back the Flavors of Florida event at many restaurants and stores. These exclusive items will be available from July 5th to August 14th in the form of refreshing drinks, new flavors of Dole Whip, Sandwiches Born in the Sunshine State and Cuban.
Newcomer Salt and Straw opened earlier this year and is already ready to join the action. A unique ice cream joint serving strawberry honey balsamic with black pepper flavored ice cream.
Stroll down to the Swirls on the Water Kiosk for a new take on Disney’s most famous treats. Here, the iconic orange bird sits on top of an orange doll her whip. (There’s also a watermelon flavor.) Meanwhile, Everglazed His Donuts offers Citrus Dream His Donuts.
After you’ve eaten (if you didn’t spend your money on lots of snacks), the Marketplace has some Florida merchandise you can buy. Guests can take home White Chocolate Key Lime Pie Candy at the new M&M store in the House of Mouse. Other items include Homesick Florida Candles, Orange Blossom Honey, and Florida Sunshine Tea.
