Burleigh, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — One of the nice things about cooler temperatures in this area is that it’s a good reminder that it’s time to update the winter sports gear you have around your home .
And if you’re in the Minicassia area this weekend, you’re in luck.
Burleigh’s Idaho Water Sports is hosting their annual Pomerell Ski Swap, and there’s still time to attend.
An exchange is a good opportunity for someone looking to purchase something new, or dispose of some of the old equipment lying around.
This year’s Swap has everything you need to kick off the winter sports season. Large selection of alpine skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, helmets and more.
And the best part about swaps… All proceeds raised will be used to fund the Pomerelle Ski Patrol.
“The idea is that people bring in old or used gear and trade it in for a discount on the new. All of the perks and proceeds of the go to the Pommerel Ski Patrol…they are not being paid so the donations really help with supplies, training etc…etc..”
Last day for ski swaps is Saturday 22nd October. Doors open at 9am and close at 6pm.
Ski Swap is located at the Idaho Watersports parking lot in Burleigh.
