For many guests, one of the most impressive aspects of the Disney parks is the quality and variety of food that sets them apart from your average theme park experience. From Dole Whip to Churros, California Grill to Blue Bayou, the dining experience that accompanies an attraction tour can be a vacation essential. So what happens when your dining expectations are met with unfamiliar grievances?
During the Christmas holidays, we had a few family and friends visiting the Disneyland Resort area, our long summer vacation. His one element of feedback that they all shared consistently was that Disney theme food quality has gone down significantly throughout his parks and shopping districts. For Australians like me, the West Coast is much closer than the East. I need a second flight – I haven’t heard the same feedback about Walt Disney World, but this could simply be due to the much smaller sample size of friends returning from Orlando.
Between all of them, nearly every notable dining experience was mentioned, including signature restaurants, dining packages, snack staples, and Downtown Disney staples. Still, the only exception to the overall terrible report is the “sufficient’ Okay, I know what you’re thinking. what experiences do these people haveThis is a good question as it can greatly affect your ability to have realistic expectations.? Some were certainly first-timers, but the list included my close family members.
