Dora police confirmed they were victims of a murder. has residents who live on the edge of the city, which is usually quiet. >> Let me be clear, this is a murder investigation. Amanda: Officials at Mount Dora are investigating the murder of his 83-year-old man and his 80-year-old wife at a nursing home. Police said Waterman Village Security called her 911 about suspicious activity around 4 p.m. Saturday. When they arrived they found an elderly couple dead in their apartment. >> We spared no expense to find out the facts that led to this untimely death. Amanda: Investigators provided few details about the death. They also did not release the identities of the victims, but the out-of-town couple’s son said he had been informed of his parents’ deaths. >> There are some things we can’t discuss at the moment, but maybe tomorrow we can announce more. Amanda: Some residents of Waterman Village, who are understandably very concerned, also attended his conference Sunday News. They claim there were several incidents of suspicious activity in the days leading up to the murder. A strange woman claims to have tried to enter their apartment. >>I know all my neighbors, who weren’t so careful before, try to keep the door locked. Amanda: Despite the fear, police and city officials have told residents that the city is safe. >> Don’t feel as safe as when you woke up yesterday morning. Our police department serves this city well and protects our city. Amanda: Mount Dora has called in reinforcements to investigate, and the FDLE is offering assistance with forensic resources. In Lake County, by Amanda Dukes, WESH 2 NEWS. Summer: Two dead, one injured. Investigators describe it as an isolated domestic shooting in Orange County. Delegates responded to Fordham Creek her lane at about 1:00 this morning and found two women and her one man with a gunshot wound. A woman in her 50s died in hospital, and one more woman in her 20s survived, but she is still in the hospital tonight. Investigators believe the man found at the scene died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Palm Bay police are now searching for a man wanted in response to a shooting investigation.Police called out near Malabar Road and Eldron Boulevard tonight and say the man they are looking for is Caucasian, about 40 years old, wearing a full beard, a black shirt and jeans. says it may be walking
