According to Disney, Columbia Harbor House’s lobster rolls are “chilled lobster served with mayonnaise on New England-style bread and served with french fries.” The lobster roll isn’t the cheapest item on the menu, he’s $16.99 before tax. Based on the photos Disney provided, Marlene should have expected a decadent lobster-stuffed hot dog bun.

According to Marlene, when she saw what she was being offered, she was quick to complain to cast members. Her cast members provided her with additional sandwiches along with her first sandwich, but she said the serving was just as bad.
This isn’t the first time Disney has been accused of keeping prices high while cutting some. I was sharing a photo of One photo showed a bowl of pasta with very little pasta and very little sauce. Another user shared a portion of the 2020 Disney fries compared to the same 2021 fries order.

Disney has said these issues with the food guests are receiving are simply due to supply chain issues. It said it was looking at ways to reduce costs, including changing vendors. So it remains to be seen if this is really a supply chain issue or if it’s becoming the new normal for Disney.
