Walt Disney World continues to be crowded well past New Year’s Day, as January 2nd appears to be the busiest of the 2022-2023 holiday season.

At the time of writing, 29 attractions had wait times of 60 minutes or more, and 12 attractions had triple-digit hits of over 100 minutes.
There are now multiple attractions with wait times of 3 hours or more, with Star Wars Rise of the Resistance hitting wait times of 4.5+ hours in the morning, slightly down from its previous peak of 5 hours.

Here’s a quick rundown of wait times at Walt Disney World on January 2nd at 11am.
- Star Wars Rise of the Resistance – 280 minutes
- Avatar Flight of Passage – 210 minutes
- Soarin’ – 180 minutes
- Slinky Dog Dash – 170 minutes
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure – 165 minutes
- Seven Dwarf Mine Train – 160 minutes
- Tower of Terror – 145 minutes
- Test track – 120 minutes
Looking ahead at theme park availability calendars, all parks are at capacity for all ticket types on January 3, suggesting congestion will continue. Availability will improve later in the week, but Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios won’t be available until his Jan. 6, 2023.
