Here are the six Marvel Studios projects released in 2022, why they matter, and why they might be in the future.
Last year, Marvel Studios produced shows for Disney Plus with different kinds of characters. They stepped into the unknown. Marvel Studios has brought in new superpowered beings to replace the heroes and villains of previous movies and shows. This was a bold move by both Marvel and Disney. People tend to only like and get excited about the familiar. Almost everything released on Disney Plus in 2022 was new to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Some of this year’s shows may have met with criticism, but they still maintain high ratings. This means that people are still interested and continue to trust the MCU project. Quitting a weekly show is easy when you’re not invested or care how it ends. New shows in particular are coming up all the time, but that wasn’t the case here.
With that said, what are the best MCU projects released on Disney Plus? Here’s their ranking and why they’re placed that way.
6. I’m Groot
i am groot It was the cutest thing that ever happened to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Probably all of Marvel in general. It was also a fun way to try something new. If this was the success Disney Plus was hoping for, fans could get more shorts… not just kids.
Who wouldn’t want to see Moon Knight’s short missions in animated form? How about Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk in court?
5. Night Werewolf
Listen to this formula. Take a lot of characters that novice Marvel Comics fans don’t know or care about, shoot the special in black and white, and then make it like a classic B-movie. It seems like a bad idea on paper. guess what? worked.for no reason werewolf of the night It should have stayed that way. Still, here I am.
This is not just a character introduction. It set the stage for them to possibly appear in another project (perhaps in Blade and Black Knight) without having to struggle too much with who they are. I hope it works well in movies and shows.
