Oh Toy Storyland, we love you. We’re crazy about trying to grab a Genie+ Lightning Lane slot at 7am before we see you. We cry when the Genie+ system tells us we have a slot for Slinky Dog Dash starting at 10am, only to find out it’s actually 3pm. Yes, Toy Story Land, you’re serving as an excellent addition to Hollywood Studios. Apparently there’s no shade in Andy’s backyard, so sorry if you feel people don’t like you. Galaxy’s Edge offers ‘Lontrap’ and quality counter service food at Docking Bay 7.
However, Woody’s Lunch Box in the Toy Story Land area also offers above-average counter service dining. The “tochos” sold here are a prime example of that quality. These orders are only $9.99, which sounds like a bargain at a theme park. The descriptions of these menus read, “Beef and beans chili-coated potato barrels, signature queso with shredded cheese, tomato and corn chips, sour cream and green onion sprinkles.”
Before I discuss this menu item, I have to give credit to the person who wrote the menu description. They need to create promotional materials for more companies. Also, this very simple food sounds like a masterpiece being built.
Nevertheless, these totchos have many advantages. Portion sizes provide a filling meal. Admittedly, the components are not the highest quality products. Still, this meal revolves around comfort and portion size. We provide satisfying and simple meals that you can keep eating without getting bored. Enjoying this menu item will show you how much you appreciate quality food over hearty meals. But Toccio serves as a filling meal. Remember your pre-tax spending is less than $10. Interesting combinations of flavors make for a delicious (and potentially confusing) meal. By putting as many individual ingredients together as possible, each bite will be the most delicious.
The few weaknesses of this entree range from location to texture. First, this place has limited seating. On busy days, you may find yourself eating while standing. I find it difficult to stand to enjoy this. Secondly, potato barrels are often soggy. This works in contrast to the tater totsovers covered in Green Eggs and Ham’s Universal Orlando. By paying Oreida for the ability to call Tater Tots, the quality of the potatoes will probably increase. Third, I felt these needed a little more queso. Queso quality rate is average at best. However, queso goes well with potato barrels.
In answer to the ultimate food question, “Will I pay for these again?”, I answer yes. Still, you can get plenty of decent-tasting meals for under $10, which in my opinion makes these a solid counter-service option. please!
