Fans of Soarin’ Over California will get the chance to hang-glide over Napa Valley, Monterey Bay and Redwood Creek when the classic version of the flight simulator returns once more to Disney California Adventure.
Soarin’ Over California returns for a limited time starting March 4th, just in time for Disney’s Food & Wine Festival at Anaheim Theme Park. No end date has been announced for Soarin’ Over California.

The original attraction, which allowed you to fly over the Golden Gate Bridge, Malibu beaches, and other California landmarks in 2001, became Soarin’ over the Swiss Alps, the Great Wall, and other international landmarks in 2016. Replaced by Around the World.
Disney has finally brought back Soarin’ Over California for its 2020 Food & Wine Fest, which was cut short by the coronavirus pandemic closures of DCA and Disneyland.
Before that, Soarin’ Over California opened its doors to a limited audience in June 2019 to help soak up the expected large crowds that never materialized for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge’s debut at Disneyland. Executed.
In the past, Disney has offered some special ride times to Soarin’ Over California annual passholders, but it’s not yet announced whether the Magic Keychain will enjoy the same perks this time around.

From March 4th to April 26th, the DCA Food & Wine Festival will bring back the classic Soarin’ attraction.
DCA’s annual Food Fest offers California-inspired cuisine with live entertainment, cooking seminars, cooking demonstrations, and hands-on experiences for kids. The event will bring 12 Festival Marketplace booths to California Adventure featuring small plates, specialty wines and craft beers.
