Thomas Richard Lyons died at the age of 89 on January 27, 2023 in St. Charles, Illinois.
Thomas, or Dick as he is known to friends and family, was born on February 4, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York.
York, the only child of Thomas and Madeleine Lyon. On December 29, 1956, he married his Mary Devine.
Dick served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1955 to 1962, rising to the rank of First Lieutenant.
Dick attended St. Peter’s College in Jersey City, New Jersey and received a Bachelor’s degree in English.
He has a 45-year career in manufacturing. He worked for Crown Cork & Seal Inc. for many years,
I oversee production at multiple manufacturing plants in North America.
When he retired in 1996, Dick and Mary moved into a house on the Kalamazoo River in Saugatuck.
