JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (WFLA) — Three Florida residents have been arrested in Baker County on suspicion of being involved in what authorities called an “execution-style murder.”
NBC affiliate WTLV reported that 19-year-old Whalon Joseph Hannah reported: Robert Martin Trablad, 25 years old. An unnamed 16-year-old boy has been charged with the deaths of David Sigers and James Michael Thomas.
Seegers and Thomas were shot dead at their McClennie home on July 30, 2022. At the time, Scotty his Roden Sheriff described it as an “execution-style murder scene.”
At a press conference on Friday, Roden said two of the suspects broke into the home where Sigers and Thomas were and shot the victim in front of several guns. However, it did not disclose which suspects had entered the home.
According to the sheriff, the murder occurred because of a previous altercation between one of the suspects and the victim.The suspect’s mother was also dating Thomas.
A 16-year-old girl and Hannah were charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery, and theft of a firearm. Trublood was subsequently indicted for accessory and evidence tampering charges.
