In November 2021, we reported on the unpopular comments made by Christine McCarthy, CFO of The Walt Disney Company, on her quarterly earnings call. After the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort announced they were cutting portion sizes at meals to save money, McCarthy said the change was “good for some people’s waistlines.”

Many Disney Parks fans were offended by these comments. Fans are already noticing a decline in portion sizes at Disney parks, with some reporting that the food quality is declining as prices rise.
As 2022 draws to a close, self-proclaimed Disney Foodies and “Professional Eaters” shared the worst thing they ate at the Walt Disney World Resort last year. One of her Disney food experts is her TikToker girlfriend Bethany Vinton (@bethanyvinton).

With over 300,000 followers, Vinton’s opinions on Disney food are appreciated. She shared her top five “totally horrible” things she’s tried at Walt’s Disney World Resort in 2022.
In fifth place is the Hades Hot Dog, available at Friar’s Nook in the Magic Kingdom during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. First, purple mustard is applied. Why? Second, the whole thing was uncomfortably spicy,” Vinton said. “And third, the taste was just disgusting.”
Vinton warned about 4th worst for 2022 all Dine at H2O Glow Nights at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. “Everything was dry. They tried tie-dyeing,” Vinton recalls. “It was a mess.”
“The third one is very specific, but it was the mushrooms that accompanied the beef on this $195 meal at Monsieur Paul,” Vinton said. It tasted unbearably metallic, like it was.”
The second worst was the Everything Donut from Everglazed Donuts at Disney Springs. It was terrible.”
last and absolutely At least Salmone Alla Siciliana from the Tuscan Holiday Kitchen in the Italian World Showcase Pavilion at the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays was the best.
“This is push-pop salmon tartare, honestly,” Vinton said. “Everything about this bugged me. 0/10. Whoever made this should be in jail.”
