Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebrations are drawing to a close, but new merchandise is still being released. I recently found this pin in honor of an occasion at the Main Street Cinema on Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom. The pin reads “I Was Part of the Magic” and is a great souvenir for those who have experienced the celebration firsthand.
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary “I Was Part of the Magic” Pin – Limited Release – $17.99
The limited release pins feature Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy in special 50th anniversary outfits against a dark blue background. You can also see the Walt Disney World park icons in the background.
Arching above the Fab Four is the ‘I Was Part of the Magic’ in relief. The bottom is “Walt Disney World 50”. Four of the park’s icons, Spaceship Earth (EPCOT), Cinderella’s Castle (Magic Kingdom), The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (Disney’s Hollywood Studios) and Tree of Life (Disney’s Animal Kingdom) sparkle in reflective purple cloisonne .
The pin is attached to a specially designed card featuring the signature colors of the Anniversary Celebration, dark blue and gold.
The World’s Most Magical Festival officially ends on March 31, 2023.
