The longtime location of Walt Disney World has closed its doors for good.

On January 2, 2023, Sosa Family Cigar Co. closed Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort. I first learned of the closure a few days ago. This cigar shop has been a staple of the Disney Springs dining and shopping district at the Walt Disney World Resort for decades.
The cigar company page has been removed from the Walt Disney World website.

The company originally operated from the former Pleasure Island Building location and is now located on the West Side.
I’m not sure what will replace the location.

Thankfully, Disney Springs has over 10 entertainment experiences, over 60 restaurants, and over 100 shopping opportunities. Disney Springs is also a great place to grab a bite to eat and shop for souvenirs. Free parking and entrance fees make it easy for locals and visitors to the resort to enjoy.
The Lake Buena Vista Shopping Village arrived at the end of Hotel Plaza Boulevard in 1975. Over the years, Pleasure Island and Downtown Disney Westside have expanded. Today these areas are known as Disney Springs.

Recognized as one of the nation’s premier retailers, Sosa’s family-owned shop has been in the industry for over 70 years, offering over 80 renowned cigar brands, including hard-to-find Opus X and Fuente Hemingway. I’m here. Wall-to-wall cigars are kept fresh at the perfect temperature in this solid cedar humidor room, which also showcases the art of hand-rolling long-leaf cigars.
A must-see for enthusiasts, the shop features an intimate smoking area and carries a range of boxes, cigarettes and accessories for a premium experience.
