Kellogg is once again partnering with The Walt Disney Company and 20th Century Studios for another serial tie-in. This time, we are planning to play “Avatar: Path of Water”. This cereal reuses the already popular Frosted Flakes cereal for Pandora Flakes.
Pandora Flakes feature the usual Frosted Flakes, but add blueberry “Blue Moon” to the cereal. Kellogg said that this is “Inspired by the Pandora world of Avatar, mini blueberry-flavored moon spheres, pops of blue, and fruity notes stand out against the sweet crunch of frost flakes.“
The box includes recycling information and includes temporary tattoos, reusable glow-in-the-dark spoons, and more.
Laura Newman, senior marketing director for Kellogg’s All Family Cereals, said of the cereal launch:
“Avatar: The Way of Water is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. And now, Kellogg’s is giving fans and his family a cool and delicious way to celebrate the next chapter of this franchise. Kellogg’s Pandora Flake Cereal is an avatar-themed spin on the beloved Frost his Flake Cereal!“
The cereal is targeted for October only, but will be available to retailers nationwide in November. These are priced at $4.99 for the 10.2 oz box and $5.99 for the 16.3 oz size.
Avatar: Path of Water is set to release on December 16, 2022, followed by three other films released in late 2024, 2026 and 2028.
