Chef at Smith Homecoming. I came over to see if they had one table so I could try the new spicy cauliflower wings smothered in hot honey and a mini hurricane rolled over Disney Springs.

As I ate these wonderful “chicken wings” with the roar of thunder, I began to realize that this was probably one of the best places in Disney Springs to hide from the storm. Not only is the food great, but so is the music that plays throughout the restaurant.
The staff here are out of this world and will let you hang out while the storm passes. , brought me the menu again. Since my stay was extended. The chairs here are pretty comfortable, so that’s a bonus.

I sat at a table, but the bar seemed like a good place too. The bar had plenty of open seating for those who wanted to hang out with a drink. Don’t forget you can order food from the bar too. If I could give you any advice, it would be to bring a jacket as the A/C was too strong and chilly.

Homcomin seems like the perfect laid-back space to run to when the storm begins to roll over Disney Springs. There is a covered outdoor patio if you don’t like sitting inside and want to watch the rain. Part of the patio is screened and the other half is not, so be careful.
Oh, and if you’re wondering, the cauliflower wings were phenomenal, the hot honey wasn’t overly spicy but had a nice kick. He also ordered a side of vegetables and potatoes for $8. This was the perfect ‘wait for a meal in the rainstorm’. I will do it again even if it doesn’t rain.
